What compliment are you most often given?

That I'm smart. I deny and pooh-pooh it away because I really am not as smart as people think. I just happen to learn quicker than most. But that's being book-smart. I'm completely dumb in real-life, practical situations. Go figure. So I really don't deserve the compliment.

well, we can't really measure intelligence. so, book-smart or dumb in real-life, i think you're smart! i speak highly of you and what you're capable to do both in academics, in real life, so on and so forth. so don't pooh-pooh it away.
